Lourdes is a Calgary-based entrepreneur and Urban Planner who oversees diverse companies and non-profits she has founded including Soma Hammam & Spa, Hive Developments, Leftovers Foundation, Fresh Routes and Knead Technologies.

In the spirit of reconciliation, I recognize that we live on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes Siksika, Piikani, Blood Tribe/Kainai, Tsuut’ina, and the îyârhe Nakodabi (Stoney-Nakoda) First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearpaw, and Wesley First Nations. Mohkinstsis (Calgary) is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta Region III. I stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities and understand that we must collectively take action towards reconciliation.
